Scout turned 8 yesterday (yes, I know this means we’re all kinda old😳🤣) and of course she wanted to spend her birthday week with her favorite person... (no, not me) my mom. 😂 Like her grandma, she’s full of joy, adventure, kindness, a little drama (see the last video), thoughtfulness and a love for life that makes everyone else seem a little boring in comparison 🤣 I hope you don’t have social media till you’re like 30 or something, but if you ever see this... Scout, I hope we’re best friends some day. I don’t just love you, I really do like you (even when I’m lightly brushing your hair and you’re screaming bloody murder... and those are very trying times). You are beautiful in every way. Knowing who you are and who you’re becoming is an incredible gift.❤️
