I had the opportunity to write the biopic of gospel legend @Marvinsapp w/ my guy Samont Washington & last night it premiered at the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival ahead of its TV premiere later this month 🙏🏾 A lesson i'd love to pass on to my fellow creatives is that no matter how ugly the film business can be, never let negative energy stop you from celebrating your accomplishments.
