I spoke to an executive leadership team today and one woman stood up and shared that her daughter had dared us to steal a lock of Robert Pattinson’s hair back when we were filming @theburiedlife MTV show. One of our list items was “Accept a Dare” so we accepted it and through a series of very embarrassing events, managed to get a piece of his hair. (He was huge in those Twilight days, so it was a mission) We then delivered the hair to her daughter, at her house. Her story was a total surprise to me but what was most surprising was the impact it had on her daughter. As her mom said, “It was just that one moment in life, when somebody saw her.” A great example of the ripple effect, and how one action can alter someone’s life, even if you don’t know it.
