Friends! A health update: I found out several weeks ago that my thyroid cancer returned - oh no! I’m okay though 😘 I caught it early, it’s relatively easy to treat, and thanks to the fine folks at NYU hospital I was able to take care of it quickly and seamlessly. Huge thanks to friends and family who sent ice cream and flowers and love. And a special shout out to Mr. #1 @heymattyryan for being an absolute King this week and waiting on me hand and foot. Thank you for all the stews and pies. I love you a lot. This is the third time I’ve had cancer, so a couple pieces of “wisdom” I’d love to share: 1. Get your regular check ups (without which I would not have caught this) 2. Make sure you’re insured (even though it’s an absolute hellfire to navigate our healthcare system) 3. Use vitamin E oil for scars (last photo is me one week post surgery) I’m excited to show off my very cool new neck and make lots of jokes about cancer. See you soon ✌🏼❤️
