We stand with the brave girls and young women of Iran who are leading a revolution against the Islamic Republic. Women and men across Iran, including ethnic and religious minorities, students, different classes, young and old, are all united in calling for an end to this repressive theocratic dictatorship. This regime has attacked, murdered, and tried to silence protestors using brutal tactics and now they are targeting students at top universities, high schools and even elementary school girls. These protests erupted after the so called “Morality Police” arrested and then killed 22 year old Kurdish Iranian woman Mahsa Jina Amini on September 16, all because she wasn’t wearing “proper hijab”. In protest to her death, which comes after a recent string of unjust arrests and kidnappings, Teenage girls across Iran began chanting the Kurdish call for human rights: Woman, Life, Freedom.
