New year, same me! There are a few new faces around here (welcome, hello!) and I am feeling as though my Instagram has been horribly neglected, so I thought I'd do a quick re-introduction post to kick-start 2022. So hello! Thanks so much for being here. I'm Polly and I'm an illustrator of many things. My first love is creating bespoke wedding stationery (which is where this all started) and I am sooooooo thrilled that weddings are back. I also take on commissions for bespoke maps, bigger original pieces, editorial work and commercial projects. Plus I design paper goods + prints over at @portlandpaper.co where you can shop all of the cards, wrapping paper and perfect presents that you could need. I've had a few messages recently to ask if I'm still taking on wedding commissions and the answer is absolutely YES. In fact, that's why I've been so quiet, as I focus on bringing a plethora of invitations to life for weddings this year. I've still not got back into the groove of sharing recent work on the grid (too scared that I'll jinx it and weddings will be wrecked again) but I've sharpened my pencils for 2022 (see stories!) and I think I'm almost ready to dip my toes back in... stay tuned! ✏️ If you think you might like to work with me in the coming months then I'd love to hear from you.
