Mountains giveth, mountains taketh away and they just took away one of the best people I have ever seen move through the mountains, @hilareenelson. I followed her skin track to some of the best runs of my life. I marched Capitol Hill with her and had a front row seat watching her deliver speeches and push our elected officials to act on climate. All this while staying committed to her most import job, being a dedicated mother to her two kids. I can’t think of a more complete, kind and hard charging humans I have ever known. We all die but we don’t all live. She squeezed countless lives into her 49 years on this planet. Godspeed Hillaree... see you on the other side.
