Prepping for the last weekend of summer ☀️ I shared these vodka-soaked melon balls at the start of the season and they’re still one of my favs! Here’s my favorite Vodka-Soaked Melon Ball recipe! ☀️🍉🍈 Ingredients: 1 small seedless watermelon, cantaloupe, and/or honeydew melon 1 cup (240 ml) vodka (I used Chopin but any will work) 1 cup (240 ml) store-bought or homemade limeade (I bought the Limeade packets) Fresh mint, for garnish 1. Use a melon baller to scoop out round, uniform balls from each melon. 2. Add melons to a bowl. Add vodka and stir until all melons are gently coated. 3. Cover with lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or up to 6 for a more intense flavor. 4. Stir well and add limeade packets (I used @truecitrus) before serving, mix well and garnish with fresh mint. You can also sprinkle in some sugar if you’re looking for a sweeter version. 5. Option to freeze the melon balls to use as iced cubes for a vodka soda cocktail!
