From the dark aesthetic of the movie to the songs to the characters, I love everything about it. ⁣ ⁣ Chris Sarandon is my favorite not just because of his role as Jack but also because of his iconic performance in Fright Night (1985 NOT the remake) and of course, The Princess Bride.🤌🏼⁣ ⁣ •⁣ ⁣ If you love this movie as much as I do and wondered what happened to Jack and Sally at the end of the movie, have a curiosity about Sally’s backstory, and ancient hidden worlds then try out Long Live the Pumpkin Queen (YA) by Shea Ernshaw. ⁣ ⁣ Just like Winterwood and The Wicked Deep, Shea has the ability to draw me in with her beautiful writing. I loved, loved, loved how she wrote Sally, the magic of Halloween Town, other worlds and new characters.
