@Kingandprince on St. Simons Island, Georgia, helped the war effort during WWII. The resort served as quarters, classrooms, and towers used to amplify signals; to honor that history, the signature restaurant was named ECHO, a nod to the NATO Phonetic Alphabet used in the military.
