alright alright, almost that time again! This Friday my residency returns to Nowadays, which is a night that, in combination with late nites book club, I always walk away from feeling very inspired by. Here’s how it’s all gonna go down this time: On the musical front, we’ve got none other than 🅛🅔🅔 🅖🅐🅜🅑🅛🅔, whose set from 2019 at nowadays remains one of my favorite I’ve seen at the club ever. I have it linked in my stories if you want a preview of what’s to come. Had the room been mic’d during the set you’d hear me shrieking with joy and laughing with surprise throughout. A truly head-spinning dj. Opening the night is the (luckily!) now-local dj via Seattle 🅣.🅦🅐🅝 Some one to keep an eye on if you’re not already familiar, her captivating sounds have been pleasing the people seemingly everywhere this summer. Can’t wait to have her nowies debut on this night : ) And for book club we did something extra special this time. An obsessive’s ode to auto tune, the book is full of provocative theses, colorful writing, and polarizing main characters. I’m anticipating it’ll lead us into a very lively discussion indeed!
