I just don't want them or their parents to walk in that movie just thinking of the games to then be met with things they/their children might not be able to handle yet. Every kid is different, I can handle horror very well now but as a kid it definitely would have been a bad idea for me to see the upcoming movie. Please mind your mental health, none of this is to joke about. Play the games, engage with the fandom, books, whatever you want, have fun! But just be aware of what your psyche can take. This isn't about you being tough and having to prove something (trust me I know that some kids still think like they have to), this is about your own well being. If you can handle gore/horror themes well, then have fun.
