How To Get The ✨Amex Gold Card✨ 1. Have a primary credit card in your name for at least 18 months prior to applying (can be secured, unsecured doesn’t matter. Having 2 will increase your chances of approval) 2. On the established accounts, make sure your utilization is below 10% at the time of your application 3. No new employers reported on your credit report in at least 90 days from time of application 4. No *New* collections, charge offs, repos, bankruptcies or late payments for at least 24 months across entire credit profile 5. No more than 2 new account w/in 6 months of app (if you’re score isn’t strong) 6. Notice I didn’t mention a single thing about a score 👀, bc Amex doesn’t actually care about your credit score, they are only concerned about your credit profile. This is one of my favorite cards.
