[Solo Shows] Orshi Drozdik’s work remains little known, shown and critically explored she is the first Hungarian artist to advance a specifically feminist agenda in the early 1970s . She is one of the most significant Eastern European women artists working in experimental performance, photography and installation to emerge before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Following her move to New York in 1980, she worked in close relation to feminist, critical and experimental literary practices associated with New York postmodernism.
