Nearly 75 thousand people arrested by ICE in the first nine months of the Trump administration had no criminal history. That comes straight from NBC News reporting and federal data 📢
Look at the numbers today. Seventy three percent of people booked into ICE detention this fiscal year have no conviction. Only five percent have a violent conviction. Traffic issues and immigration violations make up most of the rest. That is not a public safety strategy. That is a dragnet.
Real Talk. This is about mass detention. It is about fear. It is about creating a narrative that paints immigrants as threats even when the government knows most of the people they arrest have no criminal record. If this was really about crime we would see different numbers.
Do not ignore this. Once a government normalizes arresting people with no criminal history the rules change for everyone. Pay attention. Speak up. Know your rights.
