Saturday 17th 20:00 @ Aleste Studio , parte of @perimetroo by @loverslollypops RESTOS Restos is a work in progress by Antonio Onio, marking the creator's return to the Invicta, and his first work since 2020. In Restos, Antonio starts from the premise that performance, in today’s contemporary, will never be what saves us, but what we’ve got left, a distant memory of a world where action and Pathos could actually change the course of things. Always dealing with the dichotomy of wanting to do everything / believing in nothing , Antonio exposes the inner abyss, hopelessness, the horror that comes, the greater fear, toxic positivism. Sipping freely from the film ̈The end of Evangelion ̈, Gisela Serrano, somatic dances and even stand up comedy Antonio tries to recreate the beginning, the end that cannot be avoided, and even before it arrives, the irreducible , stupid, and unconscious hope. This work is made in collaboration with A Leste Studio — PT Restos é um work in progress de Antonio Onio, marcando o retorno do criador À Invicta, e o primeiro trabalho desde 2020. Em Restos, António parte do preceito que a performance , no contemporâneo actual, não será nunca mais o que nos salva, mas aquilo que nos resta , uma memória distante do mundo onde a acção e o Pathos poderia efectivamente mudar o curso das coisas. Lidando desde sempre com a dicotomia de querer fazer tudo / não acreditar em nada , Antonio expõe o abismo interior , a desesperança , o horror que vem , o medo maior, o positivismo tóxico. Baseando-se livremente no filme ̈The end of Evangelion ̈,Gisela Serrano, danças somáticas e até stand up comedy António tenta recriar o inicio , o fim que não pode ser evitado, e mesmo antes dele chegar, a esperança irredutível , estupida, e inconsciente.
