There is nothing quite as sweet as a child engrossed in a book you have written. I gave an early copy to Adela, the daughter of some of our oldest family friends - cousins in every way that matters. She took the book over to a corner and read it word for word by herself - her little six year old fingers sliding over each word. My heart exploded.
