CAJUN BEANS 🫘 beans with a little spice (and some @greencuisineofficial sausages) 😯 ad 👇🏾INGREDIENTS👇🏾 -1 large white onion -1 red bell pepper -2 celery sticks -3 garlic cloves -1 tsp smoked paprika -1/2 tsp cayenne pepper -1/2 tsp chilli powder -1/2 tsp cumin powder -1/2 tsp dried oregano -1/2 tsp dried fennel (Or use 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning) -1 cup vegetable stock -4 cooked green cuisine sausages -1 can adzuki beans or red kidney beans -fresh parsley -white rice to serve ⬇️METHOD⬇️ -start by frying your diced white onion and minced garlic in tbsp vegetable oil on a low heat for 5 minutes. -add the dried spices and tomato paste and fry for a further 5 minutes, add a splash of water if the spices start to burn/stick. -now add the diced celery, beans, stock, chopped tomatoes with a pinch of salt and simmer for 5 minutes on a low/medium heat. -add the cooked green cuisine sausages and simmer for a further 10-15 minutes (add more water if it reduces too much). -towards the end stir in some fresh parsley and save some for serving, serve with white rice and enjoy!
