“I'm relatively new to photography having learnt manual mode a few months ago via @tealily and @amyoliver. Whilst I initially focused on family photography, I found myself gravitating towards film. I love the intentionality and nostalgic quality of film.
I decided to try out a studio workshop to practice photography beyond family shoots.
The workshop is hosted by @joeyyleephotography via @studioatdickson for beginner and intermediate photographers who want to build on their portfolio. It's also for new up and coming models to practice different looks and styles.
A generous friend lent me his Mamiya RZ 67 so I took this opportunity to practice medium format film photography.
So in summary, it is pretty experimental workshop. We try different looks, angles, styles. I had a great time learning though and my captures turned out a lot better than expected. But it sealed my love for film photography. I loved my film shots over my digital. “
