Photo by @joshuacogan | Following the pilgrimage route from Paro to Thimphu in Bhutan, we were surrounded by rhododendron in peak season. The magical Himalaya landscape gave us incredible views of ancient plants that are endemic to the country. It is believed that there are nearly 50 rhododendron species in Bhutan, with the best time to see them being between late spring and early summer.
