Last summer Pat Simmons and Tom Johnston, founding members of The Doobie Brothers, released a biography about their legendary band. I was quite honored that they selected one of my pictures as cover for their book 'Long Train Runnin'. This particular one was shot in 1974 during a nice session in my former studio at the Berenstraat 18, in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam. I haven't read the book yet, but I can imagine their story is a great and remarkable trip. So catch it while you can. And good to see that the band, with Pat and Tom, is still is around and is doing a 50th Year Anniversary Tour.
