Living at the mercy of the mountain and the mind 🇳🇵 My first foray into the 8000m peak cosmos was an expectedly humbling and eye opening experience. An extended monsoon season made conditions on the Highest peaks particularly dangerous and ultimately impassable. Faced with the reality of the objective hazard above, coupled with Hilaree’s accident, former ambitions became obsolete. Blake and I are still here in Kathmandu digesting it all.
