National Recycling Day ♻️ We are pretty relaxed here at Silchester Farm, but one thing we take really seriously is the impact we leave on the world 🐖 As it’s national recycling day we would love to tell you some of the things we do at the farm to make a difference 👇🏽 🪴 We forage from our land – fruit, veg, herbs & nuts – all used in our bar and kitchen creations 🪴 We compost all our fruit and garden waste 🪴 We work with Grundon to recycle all our glass, cardboard and cans 🪴 Our bars are plastic free using wheat stalk straws 🪴 Our napkins are made from 100% recycled materials and are fully compostable 🪴 40% of our soft drinks are in cans as it has a 36% smaller carbon impact than bottles 🪴 Our coffee bags are 100% compostable and help fund women’s education in Africa 🪴 Sustainable florists who buy locally grown flowers, use foam free methods and reduce waste and the use of harmful products 🪴 We upcycle materials from around the farm in our renovations In the coming weeks we will continue to share some of our sustainable values and projects so keep your eyes peeled 👀 Credit to the talented @benjaminstuartphotography 📸 #sustainableliving #greenvenue #ecofriendly #sustainability #silchesterevents #silchesterfarm #makeadifference #eco
