Up, Up and Away for my Birthday 🎈 Going in a hot air balloon has been on my #bucketlist since I was a teenager! Something about being at the mercy of where the wind takes me and the thought that people have travelled this way since 1783! ⛰ The first small balloon you see in the video is a “wind test” and will end up being our flight pattern. We go up and down several times to catch different waves and ultimately “hope for the best” with the landing 😂 More in my stories today on that. And finally a balloonist Prayer: The Winds have Welcomed you with softness. The Sun has blessed you with its warm hands.
