L'augmentation du niveau de la mer causée par le changement climatique provoque des inondations à répétition qui rendent la vie des habitants très difficile. Malgré l’urgence, le gouvernement ne crée aucune infrastructure pour protéger le quartier. Les gens bricolent des solutions provisoires. Ils vivent les pieds dans l’eau. Nyancho montre ce quotidien sans tomber dans la victimisation. Ses images sont sobres, lucides, elles ne visent pas à choquer mais à montrer la résilience des gens. Rising sea levels caused by climate change are causing repeated flooding, making life very difficult for the inhabitants. Despite the emergency, the government is not creating any infrastructure to protect the area. People are inventing temporary solutions with their feet in the water. Nyancho shows this daily life without falling into victimization. Her images are sober, lucid, they do not aim to shock but to show the resilience of people. With a fundamental question: how many floods will it take for politicians to finally take all this seriously?"
