On our last night at the lake, I told G I wanted to watch the sunset on the water. There were barely any boats on the entire lake, so the water was like glass, and while we were boating back to the cabin we came up on a big group of white birds sitting in the water. As we drove through them, they scattered/flew away all around our boat and it was literally the most beautiful, movie like thing I have ever seen in my life. I remember standing there laughing and screaming & at the same time watching G’s reaction because I couldn’t believe it was real and I’ll never forget that moment because it reminded me what genuine happiness feels like + what life is all about 🫶🏼 & if you made it this far I promise no more sappy posts for the rest of the year
