new year, same old little life 🌲🧺☕️🥾🧶 1. adulthood is an infinite loop of washing muddy paw prints off the couch and laundry and dishes in the sink and god is that such a beautiful thing 2. even if everyone else says no, bean & bella always say yes - a walk in the neighborhood, playing in the snow or hikes in the canyon 3. wishing i had more hands so that i could knit more projects at the same time, my notes app is overflowing with inspiration and links to patterns i want to work on this winter 4. when all else fails, a cup of tea & a drive into the canyon is always the fix 5. leeks from the garden and a quiche in progress 6. gathered all of the hydrangea heads i foraged at the end of the fall and decided to give them a new lease on life by turning them into a wreath, with the cutest bow i might add 7. in the thick of a phase where all i want is my own company and a bit more silence, the world continues to feel like its moving a million miles an hour and i have decided i am tired of trying to keep up 8. did i mention i’ve been knitting a lot? 9. early morning watercolor skies, just before the sun crests the ridge 10. snow day snuggles 11. winter essentials - hot coco, chunky hand knit beanies, and very very bright colors to keep the winter blues at bay 12.
