@secularsabbath has revealed itself to us in new ways over and over again. That’s what I remember when I look at old pictures. One of the things I try to alway help people to understand is that it is a living experience. Not in some overly spiritual way, but in a technical way. Because so many incredible people put their craft into it, their sharing gift, and that makes it alive. There are so many sensory elements to interact with. And looking at these pictures, I remember how each sabbath is it’s own artifact, the photos: a fossil of that moment that we cannot recreate. This incoming Saturday, we are hosting a @secularsabbath that intimidates me. I feel so lucky, so grateful, that so many incredible artists are coming together for it. It seems like a dream come true to be able to host at Lighthouse, where there are literally projections of places I’ve only been to in my sleep. Dreams coming true. @avocadogreenbrands has donated over 30 beds for us to dream awake on through the night. How blessed are we? I can’t wait to meet you there. I hope we can sit for tea together.
