Excited to say that Wavelength edition 263 is here (edition 2 for me). @wavelengthsurfmag The theme this time round is ‘Custodians’, an idea which I enjoyed exploring alongside the many talented contributors who came together to fill the pages. In a time when lies and ideological turmoil is being perpetuated by those at the levers of power, it seems to me like one of the only ways of staying hopeful is to feel responsible for something, anything, and commit oneself to preserving, enhancing or protecting that thing. I hope that this edition of Wavelength, through the telling of stories and the discussion of alternative ways, can act as a beacon of sorts, or, failing that lofty ambition, will at least make those who come to read it excited to connect with the ocean, and to surf.
