New work for @jennifergardnerdesign in the loveliest of historic Seattle homes. Traditionally, I do a lot of my interiors work on tripod, but lately I’ve been giving myself more freedom to handhold the camera because it allows me extra amounts of control to compose just as I want to, even if it means I don’t get the same depth of field in tripod shots. Our human eyes see things more shallow, and I think it creates more of an emotional photograph.
