Chef Keegan “TACO” Tokumura in action cooking some @StempleRanch lambs on the spit. He never ceases to bring his A-game. One of the many Covid pivots, we cooked lunch at @freshrunfarm as well as @McEvoyRanch and @HudsonNapaValley when guests were unable to eat inside. Most folks had not been out of their houses or to eat out, especially at a nearby farm. It was a unique and special experience connecting with nature and all it had to offer. Guests were also allowed to harvest vegetables during the lunch. Seeing somebody pull Jerusalem artichokes out of the soil was stunning - the look of sheer surprise was exhilarating. The entire brigade both front and back truly changed folks’ lives during this pandemic. They also allowed us to keep the farm going strong.
