Still thinking about the “Spices & Terroir” tasting menu I had at @gabrielkreuther — a two Michelin-starred gem in NYC. This special collab between Chef Gabriel Kreuther and @cedricvongerichten was an absolute dream.
Each course was a journey, blending the bold, vibrant spices of Indonesia with the refined, earthy flavors of Alsace. We kicked things off with a fluke crudo with sambal hijau (so bright and spicy in the best way) and ended with one of the most tender lamb saddles I’ve ever had.
Standouts? The cashew and wild mushroom parfait topped with Imperial Ossetra caviar, and a white asparagus and king crab dish that came in a little mason jar — both were pure magic.
Huge thanks to the chefs for such a phenomenal night. Still dreaming about this one.
