🔥🧡🔥 Flaming dress for the lovely Jinkx Monsoon This was a collaboration with our genius friends @smooth.technology. For this project we wanted to create a narrative with lights in a way that was beautiful, unexpected, and matched Jinkx’s persona. On the outside the look may seem simple, but a lot went into achieving this effect including: a custom reflective hoop skirt, lights individually hand-sewn into a grid so the flame design could be mapped out, layers of diffusion to create the perfect glow, laser cut silk flames and 3D printed fans (in addition to lots of carefully labeled wires and batteries) @smooth.technology worked with us to design the flame sequence which starts at the hem and ignites it’s way up the dress reaching the flames at the shoulders Thank you to everyone involved and thank you @thejinkx for trusting us 🧡
