@mckith_interiors ✨HIGHLIGHT✨ Read on to hear about the idea behind the design of our Gold Bar getaway: “The concept behind the Gold Bar cabin was rooted in “adult summer camp”. We wanted this to be an accessible escape from city life and give guests the opportunity to disconnect without ever being bored. It’s easy enough to be in awe of the river at your literal fingertips, but the interiors were also meant to feel special and nostalgic. The loft room was designed for maximizing sleeping options, without losing the cozy cabin aesthetic. We still wanted you to feel like a Grown Up with your queen bed and chic throw pillows tucked in your individual sleeping nooks. Additionally, traditional updates in the home from previous owners were a little too cold— while most would have initially ripped out wall to wall plaid carpet these days... we sourced it and had brand new plaid carpet installed! All to add back the character and warmth that a secluded river cabin in the woods deserves. Lastly, and most importantly, the cabin was designed to bring people together— from the sleeping quarters layout, to the overly large dining table and countless lounging options in the living room.
