THE RUBAIYAT OF GIANNI POLITI by Jahan Khajavi is out now! It is a collection of forty-three ruba’i – a traditional Persian poetic form – made by poet Jahan Khajavi using exclusively the titles of Gianni Politi’s works, from 2012 to the present. The artist’s only request to the poet was to use all of them without editing or cutting them, using the collage technique. Jahan Khajavi @jahanxajavi (born 1986) is a poet from Fresno, California, based in Rome. Gianni Politi @gianni_politi (born 1986) is a painter from Rome, Italy, based in Rome. _ On the 25th of September, h. 18:00, the book will be presented in Rome, at @santandreadescaphis_, in the presence of the authors and the editor.
