Spicy, Sichuan food 🌶️🔥 has never been tastier than at @jx_cuisine located in Santa Clara! I can’t believe I’ve driven past this restaurant so many times 🚗 at the intersection of Homestead and Lawrence Expressway, but have never tried it. You might’ve driven past it too or seen it along the way to Super Kyo-Po Plaza. I have to say this is definitely one spot you have to stop by for authentic Sichuan flavors in a wide variety of dishes. It’s perfect for spicy food lovers and has plenty of tasty options for those who prefer something a little less spicy. Their smoked pork fried rice and sesame bread with green onion were some of my favorites and didn’t have an ounce of spice! For the full list of dishes I tried 👇 Chef special crispy cumin chicken: Crispy, flavor packed popcorn chicken bites! I’d highly recommend these. Beef in hot sauce: Dip the sesame bread in the hot chili oil from this dish or create a mini sandwich with the sesame bread and beef slices and you’ll be in for a real treat. Mapo tofu: Made with authentic Sichuan black bean paste! Tastes authentic and sooo good. Sesame bread with green onion: Love the different layers and provides a nice neutral dish to balance the spicy food. Smoked pork fried rice: Delivers on the smokiness that really brings this fried rice to the next level. Good for people looking for a non spicy dish! Lamb spine hotpot: Has two different broths (one spicy, one regular) and comes with plenty of meat, noodles, and veggies. 📍 JX Cuisine, Santa Clara #southbayfoodie #sichuanfood #sichuan #santaclara #southbayarea #southbayeats #bayareaeats #bayareafoodie #bayarea #spicyfood #spicy #eatsbyrachel
