We toss around the word "legend" a lot, but it couldn't be more true and earned in describing Kazuki Takahashi. As the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh, I can't think of anyone else that had as significant of an influence and impact on my music and creative direction as he did. Looking back, one of my most formative memories as a kid was watching the main character Yugi transform into his higher self when he was in his element. That directly drove me to find out what my element was - what would unlock my potential? Just like how card games turned Yugi into Yami, it was music that turned Hitesh into Tesher. Thank you for inspiring me Takahashi-san. I always wished I could've met or spoke to you to tell you how much your work meant to me. Until that day eventually comes, your work lives on through mine.
