On Monday, Hemet Police officers pulled over Marshal Goodnight, who was riding a black-and-white motorcycle with "Traffic Public Safety" decals and wearing a uniform resembling that of local law enforcement. Goodnight, a convicted felon, was found carrying a Glock-style pistol, two stun guns, pepper spray, and a baton. Goodnight faces several charges, including impersonating a law enforcement officer, being a felon in possession of weapons, and possessing a leaded baton. Hemet Police are reminding the public to call 911 if they feel they are being pulled over by someone who might be impersonating law enforcement and keep your doors locked and windows up until the dispatcher can confirm the officer's identity.
