Blackrock Cottage, Glen Coe - without doubt, one of the most photographed cottages in the Scottish Highlands, but with good reason. Owned by the Ladies Scottish Climbing Club, the cottage lies at the foot of Meall a’ Bhuiridh on the access road to the Glencoe Mountain Resort. We visited it several times on our trip back in March, hoping to get a chance to photograph it without cars outside. On this particular occasion there was only one so we did the sensible thing and asked if it could possibly be moved for a photograph.
