How do you say goodbye? Truly? I know to many people this is minuscule in comparison to a lot of the things happening in the world today and they are 100% right. However, I feel the need to mourn the loss of an institution that helped me grow so much over the last 10 years. From being there for last minute zippers at 8 PM to having that special fabric that worked for a costume that I needed immediately to all the wonderful people that I made friends with who worked at my local store, this is just devastating. I kept trying to convince myself it wouldn’t happen to my store and it would, by some miracle, still be there but seeing the sign saying there were only 10 days left was just heartbreaking.
