I had the pleasure of taking one of my dear friends of many years to one of my favorite musicals @waitressmusical at @brokenarrowpac this year. What made this so special was two things 1. we became friends because of singing and theatre, more specifically we were in Tulsa Youth Opera together and even performed in a main stage show through @tulsaopera in high school. 2. She happens to be an amazing baker, more specifically a pie maker since she is the woman behind the best pies in town, @commontart in Tulsa. So this experience going to a musical about another strong woman who is excellent at baking pies seemed only fitting. Adding another great memory to our list of many great times together. Although this happened a month ago, today just happens to be her birthday and I never posted this... so, Happy Birthday @alexandracoppinger! I encourage anyone who read this far to go into @commontart this week, go support local, buy some slices or a whole pie and wish her a Happy Birthday! She knows “what baking can do.” ❤️
