Since 1971 I have known about VENTILE!!! Introduced originally in 1939 for the RAF!! I first met Stan West in 1971 who even then was passed retirement age and was one of the original scientists who helped to introduce it ! Eventally in about 1983 I made my first Ventile Cold weather Parker !! Featured here though are all different ventile Parker’s from 1940/50’s ! I managed to collect these styles and many more thru from 1981 onwards !! The Large Ventile Label was produce early 80’s with the @nigelcabournengland jacket shown on the post . My Everest Parker today is made by the same Ventile featured in my last two posts !
