these exact words were said to me ... by a lactation consultant! 😳 & while these words were “well intentioned” deciding when to stop breastfeeding is no one’s business but mama’s business ESPECIALLY when she’s seeking support to keep going. no worries, if you’re wondering how I reacted to this, I didn’t flip the table Teresa Giudice style (though I contemplated it 🤪) but instead collected my composure, never spoke to her again and sought out a different lactation consultant who encouraged me until I, and ONLY I, was ready to stop breastfeeding once we truly found out I was an under-supplier. It’s #worldbreastfeedingmonth and the end of #worldbreastfeedingweek.
