Fun fact as we celebrate National Arts in Education Week. Did you know our documentary film Artbound: Arts Education was nominated for an Emmy? In partnership with KCET for Artbound, their critically acclaimed weekly television series, we developed a project that highlights the positive impacts that art has on youth, communities, and LA County. The film brings to life the important role that art opportunities have in shaping the social-emotional development and wellbeing of young people, and in building a society that supports diversity, critical-thinking, and education equity. It also features talented artists, community partners, and policy-makers who live and advocate for the arts and emphasize the value of arts education.
