I love a chantier. Ok... sometimes I really strongly dislike them 🤪, but like anything, it’s a curve, and without a doubt one of my favorite parts of the process because I always learn so much. You have to make a million decisions in a small period of time as you consider every.single.detail and try to anticipate every.single.possibility. for aesthetics / ergonomics / flow of service / temperature / acoustics / physical limitations like gravity + electricity units ..., asking others to weigh in when it is of vital importance (if not the chantier would take a million years) and then you have to go digging deep inside for the patience and zenitude when things go wrong - and remember to celebrate when things go exactly to plan! And in the end - you make it work. During the entire time of the chantier, the people working on it are like a little micro-cosm living & breathing together during a super intense period, and then it’s over. It feels like it’s over, so there is a mini-sadness, but really it’s just the beginning. @livingstonmarseille is turning 1 today and I am psyched to see this massive seagull piñata and celebrate what has been much longer than a one-year ride 😊. Also psyched to see where this baby goes with wonderperson @valraffali at the helm! It’s really infant stages here, baby, sky’s not even the limit! Happy Birthday Livingston!!!
