Overwhelmed with deep gratitude for the opportunity to return to the pavement, practicing breath, moving meditation, and the discipline to push forward toward a better me. About a year ago, a terrifying birth gave rise to the most gorgeous baby phoenix. Resilient and determined, she is proof of the power of love. 🐦‍🔥 With our health challenges paramount, my hobby felt like a distant memory; however, with the grand support of an army of family and friends who have shown up in such heroic fashion, we are soaring. And with that peace, I can find my hobby again. I am so thankful to embrace it once more. I didn’t set a new PR but I got back to the race, I finished with a broad smile, with friends and with joy.
