Today I learned about the passing of my dear friend Tomi Ajayi Dopemu. Tomi was a brother to me. One of the most talented people I had ever met and I was lucky to call him my friend. Tomi was an amazing artist, athlete, mechanical genius and so much more. In my early teenage years I met Tomi and from that point on we were the best of friends. We skated, raced cars, traveled together and even were roomies. Tomi was a gentle, kind soul that only had the best intentions. As I type these words my hands are shaking and I feel like I'm going to pass out.... I can believe this is real. Tomi, I love you brother.. were just hanging out this Saturday for your birthday, everything was normal and I'd do anything for another day with you. Sending love to your Mother Sarah, Sister Feyi and your Brother Rotimi. You'll forever be in my heart and I already miss you so much.
