Introducing the newest addition to our family, Miss Elizabeth-Jane Woods Flemming. Her name is a tribute to my mother with our own little twist. She was born 7’11 pounds & 20 inches (1 full pound and 1 inch longer than her brother!). She is a sleepy hungry girl with the perfect soft cry! Elizabeth-Jane may not have made it on her due date/daddy’s bday but she was born days later on our wedding anniversary instead :) #sept7th It was definitely a whirlwind week as we waited for bb girls arrival. Finally, when the party got started we headed to the hospital earlier than we had with Arthur since his L&D was so fast he was almost born in Coldwater Canyon! We got admitted around 9:30pm the 6th with contractions 5 min apart and got home at 1:15 after being discharged since contractions majorly stalled. However, We weren’t gone for long as we were back up at 2:30am with major contractions. We left for the hospital a second time that night at 3:45am and baby was born at 5:08am! The Arthur repeat we were trying to avoid by arriving to the hospital at 10cm dilated happened again! With Arthur, Dr. Goldberg made up the name #speedninja for me (which I thought was hilarious) but the speediness once again made me feel like he was still there present with us! Under the circumstances, I was so happy and relieved to have Dr. Finke, one of the Drs in the same practice deliver my little girl and take such great care of us after Dr. Goldbergs passing 🙏🏼. We are still tired from the events of the evening and getting adjusted back home #survivalmode with #2under2. I’ll have some Arthur updates on how the transition is going (it’s touch and go🥴) but until then, aren’t Bb girls cheeks Delish!!????
