Oh em gee. Year six. When we got married, I wondered how many anniversaries we’d get to spend together especially considering Anths schedule is never up to him and I swear the band has a list of important dates to me that immediately get booked up with shows (😅😂🤣🤪). Somehow we got 5 years to keep up our anniversary tradition of @makerpizza in bed in our wedding attire (covid obviously helped with two of the years in keeping anth at home) but this year we were in totally different places & time zones. Anth surprised me with a shoot with our gal @jennifersee.studios before he left to keep the tradition alive ... ... but keeping it real and in the “instagram versus reality” ways, swipe over to see what today actually looked like. Dirty hair, cold day old left over pizza that Oscar devoured more of then the dinner I spent time making prior to these snaps, inside out pjs, runny noses, solo parenting and so very sleep deprived because we still haven’t adjusted to school starting & dada being away, so mama (and Oscar who’s sleep went from bleh to ahhhh) hasn’t slept more than 2 hrs in a row since Sept 7th. Shot these on my iPhone with little bribery as Oscar had already put me thru the ringer since getting home from school today and as it was nearing bedtime, he was getting more cuddly. To say we miss Anth would be an understatement. Just a few more days (for three days until you leave again) and we get you back and we can’t wait. To @anthony_carone who’s asleep and thought I forgot to post ... thank you for all the work on us, the dedication, the shifting as humans, the fight, the care and support. It hasn’t been easy, but I know the love we pour into this each day. It never goes unrecognized how dedicated and full of love your constantness is.
