CPH, Part I 💚🧩✨ Copenhagen has my heart. A city small enough to bike almost anywhere, yet with a food scene that punches far above its weight. Beautiful, inviting, a little whimsical — everything a city should be. Nine days weren’t nearly enough. Already planning the return. This year has been about traveling for a sense of awe — returning to places that first inspired me to launch Crown Affair (Japan) and exploring new ones like Copenhagen and Stockholm, which have been on my list for years. Travel fuels so much for me, creatively. It shifts perspective, opens my eyes, and keeps me pushing Crown Affair forward. When I launched the brand five and a half years ago, no one looked like us. We brought a completely new perspective to a dated category. It’s been an honor to inspire others—through our creative, our messaging, our products—but it also means we have to keep evolving, keep innovating, keep setting the standard so the category as a whole can grow. I’ve never been interested in chasing trends; I want to build something timeless. Filling my eyes and my soul with inspiration is what makes that possible. This time, I’m coming back with something new. Not only the calm, mindful rituals of Japan from this spring, but the whimsy and design-forward intention of Copenhagen in the summer—something that feels like a magic trick should.
